Hello Healthcare friend,
We hope our first Healthy Conversations Newsletter finds you well! As you know, Governor Hochul released her Executive Budget on January 16, and the Health Budget hearing was held January 23 (available to view, with a list of witnesses). Next up, the Governor will have her 21- and 30-day amendments, followed by the Legislative Proposals due March 2, and the final Budget Proposal due March 31.
Here at SRC, we continue to thoroughly monitor the Budget Proposals and bills, and we will provide you with any language and updates specific to your concerns.
Finally, as the newest member of the Health Team, I wanted to introduce myself in a brief video. If there is anything else you’d like to see in the newsletter, please reach out. We hope this will become a useful resource for you.
Cheers to a happy, healthy weekend and lots of great work ahead!
Best,
Erin
